Way of Scioto County is a Community Solutions Provider which
provides support and funding to community based organizations.
United Way helps agencies
become self-sufficient in order to better meet the needs of
the community.
United Way partners and
conducts an annual fund drive so agencies can carry out their
mission.
United Way works toward
innovating long-term solutions that have a positive impact
on the community.

United Way is "To increase the organized capacity of people
to care for one another".

United Way currently funds
17 Member Agencies: American Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America,
Catholic Social Services, Community Services for the Deaf
& Hard of Hearing, Community Partners of Shawnee Mental Health,
Girl Scouts-Seal of Ohio Council, Operation Baby Buckle, Operation
Safety Net, Pastoral Counseling Center, REACH, RSVP, Salvation
Army, Scioto Radio Reading Service, SCM-West End Day Care,
Sierra's Haven and SOTFDV.

The United Way of Scioto
County is a 501 (C) 3 not-for-profit agency that is governed
by a Board of Trustees which are volunteers who work and or
reside in Scioto County. The United Way of Scioto County is
staffed by Executive Director, Mary Ann Miars-Peercy and
Office Manager, Terri Diaz.
