Way of Scioto & Adams Counties is the Community Solutions
Provider which provides support and funding to community
based organizations.
United Way helps agencies become self-sufficient in
order to better meet the needs of the community.
United
Way partners and conducts an annual fund drive so
agencies can carry out their missions.
United
Way works toward innovating long-term solutions that
have a positive impact on the community.
Mission
for the United Way of Scioto & Adams Counties is "To
increase the organized capacity of people to care
for one another".

of every dollar remains in Scioto County. Same for
Adams County.
United
Way currently funds 6 Member Agencies in Scioto County:
Catholic Social Services, Community Partners of Shawnee
Mental Health, Community Services for the Deaf & Hard
of Hearing, SMC-West End Child Care, SOTFDV and The
Counseling Center.
United
Way also funds 4 Member Agencies in Adams County:
Adams County Shelter for the Homeless, Enhanced Education
for Pregnant and Parenting Teens, Manchester Educational
Foundation-School Based Health Center and Manchester
Educational Foundation-Local After School Program.
The
United Way of Scioto & Adams Counties is a 501 (C)
3 not-for-profit agency that is governed by a Board
of Trustees which are volunteers who work and or reside
in Scioto County. The United Way of Scioto & Adams
Counties is staffed by Executive Director, Mary Ann
Miars-Peercy and Executive Assistant, Terri Diaz.
